Self-opening-and-closing toilet lids have been around for some time. What makes this one different is that it does not need electricity to operate. Toilets and their surroundings can be very damaging to electrical connections.
We decided to use the water outlet of the toilet as the energy source, and designed a small reliable hydraulic actuator to open and close the toilet lid and the seat. It is silent, quick, and does not use water.
The system is operated using a contactless gesture control system, which is encapsulated, protected against external aggressive elements, and uses hydraulic energy.
A product that brings a new experience to users and is designed for public or private use: reliable, clean, and silent.
