Flow battery

Electrical energy storage is one of the biggest challenges facing generation and transport applications today.
Flow batteries are the ideal product in situations where a large storage capacity and a high supply of power are required. We collaborated on the Flow Grid and Sunflowers projects, which are led by the company Jofemar, where the goal was to design, develop, and industrialise this type of product. The result has been twofold: an electrochemical simulation method which optimises the internal processes of the battery, and a high-performance battery module which is low-maintenance, adaptable to different environments, and easy to industrialise.
